Cannot ping secondary router - Networking Cannot ping secondary router - posted in Networking: I have a router provided by my ISP which I have connected to a Tomato router and I can ping both these routers from a laptop connected via wifi Can't ping other devices on my wireless network Suddenly I cannot ping any other devices on my network other than the router. I can access the internet but cannot connect to a printer which is connected by an ethernet cable to my router or to any of the other computers on the network. The thing is I cannot ping my modem IP from the internet much less try to establish a connection with my computer. Can my ISP be preventing this? Is there a way to get around this.
May 19, 2014 Can ping the router but cannot ping the host from the I have set up the 1800 Cisco Router as directed but cannot ping from the router to the host (my computer). I have turned off all firewalls. I am going crazy trying to sort this out! I have learned a crap load of commands trying to figure it out, so that is a plus! - smile Nov 16, 2014 · Try your pings out and see if that helps the loss. I doubt it really has anything to do with the loss which could be the result of a bad cable as well. If they work and work well, then you can leave it like this. If you lose internet access, you'll want to check that the default route hasn't changed.
Cannot ping my router I'm trying to setup Remote Desktop capabilities for the Plant Manager so when he's on the road, he can access the server. For the life of me, I can't get any access to my server from outside our network no matter what client I'm using or where.
Can't ping external ip of router - Linksys Community On the status page, under Local Area Network the Router IP Address is noted as: 192.168.1.1. On the status page, under Router the Internet IP Address is noted as: 192.168.15.2. The default gateway is: 192.168.15.1. I can't find an IP anywhere within the Router Config that looks like an external IP.
